The Babies are Here!!
The day of the birth was amazing. It went by pretty quickly after the c-section. Once all of our families left Jake and I were together alone and we enjoyed every section with our babies. Jake pitched right in and started changing diapers immediately. He has been the best daddy since day one. He has always been willing to help out with whatever it is I need. The days following in the hospital was great. The babies were doing well. My blood pressure kept sky rocketing so they watched that really close, but besides that everything went well. I was healing really good and I started walking and getting out of bed the next day.
We went home on Halloween night. We were so excited to be home, but I was very emotional! I just couldn't believe that we finally got our little miracles!
The first couple of nights were a little hard, just because Jake and I didn't sleep at all making sure they were okay. We had a lot of visitors and so many people brought us dinner. We are so extremely blessed to have such great family and friends! We sent baby announcements to all our friends and family that has helped us through this journey.
We owe so much to all those that kept pushing us forward and kept us in their prayers. We know that miracles happen because we get to hold two every single day. We want to thank each and every one of you for supporting us. Whether it be praying for us, donating money to us to help us with IVF, giving us gifts for the babies, or just being there for us when we need you, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We are so extremely grateful to have our little angels with us and we are so excited to watch them grow. They have truly completed our family. We love them more than words can say!
What more can you be thankful for when you have these two little miracles on Thanksgiving Day! This was truly the best Thanksgiving ever!!
Wow, time is flying! It's our first Christmas!! Santa, Mommy, Daddy, and Grandma's and Grandpa's spoiled us rotten! We are loved by so many!
We are three months old already! Holy cow, where is the time going?!! They are growing up so fast. I love watching them grow. They are smiling, cooing, and sometimes even giggling. They are so alert and love just being awake. They are so fun to play with. We play peek a boo, patty cake, and they love playing on their play mats. We are both so in love with them! I never thought I could be more in love with them than the day they were born, but every day I spend with them, I love them more and more.
